Music & Liturgy
The Resurrection Choir is more than a company of singers -- we are family. Actually, we are a family within the larger parish family. We come together in our weekly rehearsals and liturgies to express our love of God and our love of this parish community by sharing our gift of music.
In doing our ministry well, it is our hope that we will inspire you to pray more deeply, worship more freely and come into communion with each other and with God at each liturgy.
The liturgical document, Sing to the Lord: Music in Divine Worship states, "As minister of music, our primary role is to help the members of the gathered assembly join themselves with the action of Christ and to give voice to the gift of faith."
